78 Yukon Delta Rebuid

Great forum here with lots of good information. Thanks for the input. Now I have a question regarding a 78 Yukon Delta that was recently giving to me. Roof is covered in aluminum and interior shows no signs of water stains on ceiling yet the roof is weak in places. The fly bridge and outside edges are sitting up on plywood with carpet. Was there plywood covering the entire roof over the aluminum at one time or just these areas recently mentioned?

Welcome baseman1954! Glad to have you here... trust me, there are answers to whatever questions you have! The only thing that will help you more is to post some pictures. It is hard to get a general idea of the question you are asking and the situation you are dealing with if we can't get a clear picture of what you have. Try and post some pics... photobucket.com is a great, free source. You can upload pictures there and just copy/paste the IMG code into this thread to show the pics. Thanks gatorfan, I will try to upload pics of roof. Note the carpet under the railings. Not sure if there was plywood and carpet over entire roof or just the edges, which is pretty weak in places.
