'77 Luhrs 28 ft. diesel repower SPLASHED!

I'm thinking of buying a 28 with a yanmar 350 diesel with a sterndrive. Has anybody got experience / thoughts of this set up?
Also, whats the Lehrs like in a swell? I'm on the west coast of Ireland, not often calm here.

I just spent an hour going through your entire thread for the first time. Most people wouldn't understand, but it was worth it! Love watching these old boats get new life. Great work. Thank you for posting all the good with the bad. Some of the posts don't show all the mistakes, but those are the best for helping everyone learn and laugh together.
