Looking good.
I didn't use any either when I did mine, but may on my next one. Will have to see.
So something to think about for the deck, figure out a good way to secure the sheets to each other. My SS16 had some flimsy aluminum strips that were riveted in on both sides, but I opted to marry the sheets together with 3/4 ply and SS screws. So as the deck moves, it is as one and not each sheet doing its own thing.
