The slotted screw holding the fuel filter is almost stripped. I feel the fuel filter may be the source of my problems. The engine runs smooth at a medium to high RPM but dies before i can bring it down to idle speed. It won't start at idle. How can I clean the fuel filter and not strip the screw?
