Ok, I have replaced the rectifier, all connections are good, have sender hooked to gray wire in harness, tach is set to 12 pole, and the tach zeros when powered but the tach still does not work. Any ideas? Thanks
Check the other end of the gray wire at the motor. It should be connected to one of the yellow wires coming from the stator and going to one side of the rectifier. It doesn't matter which.
