When I decrease throttle I notice the cam moving on its own slowing down engine idle until it dies could something be dragging under the fly wheel , I replaced the flywheel with a new one.could the gen. Coil be causing this? Thanks
Absolutely. If the coils are rubbing on the flywheel magnets, it will drag them along as the flywheel rotates. Coils are to be aligned so that their laminated cores are even with the machined edges of the posts upon which they sit.
