Motor runs fine without the cover, but as soon as cover put on the motor stops and won't start. Take the cover back off and motor starts and runs fine. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks
sounds like your hittihg a ground wire. causing the motor to ground itself out. tie rap all your wires back so there not touching the cover. check for any that may be loose. then try agin.
or you seal between the powerhead and midsection is bad, and it's breathing it's own exhaust. have you changed the impeller lately, the little ring on to of the impeller housing will also let exhaust up the leg.
