i replaced the tongue on the trailer because the old one was rusted out pretty bad and i didnt really trust it to not break. also installed a trailer roller jack(or whatever they are actually called)

i got about a third of the trailer sanded/grinded down and put a little primer on it. i think in the end im going to paint the trailer a light gray or something.

hopefully over the next few evenings i can get the trailer finished up so i can get back to the boat.

through the week i finished up the resto on the trailer, i just have to reattach the bunk boards. once i do that and get it out of the garage ill get some pics posted up.

over the weekend i finished up the paint on the boat. its not as good as some of the cars i painted in the past but i think once i buff it out it will look good. i havent sprayed in about 3 years, but i some how managed to only get one run on the side. i was able to wipe it out and spray over and now i can even figure out where the run was.

some how i only have one photo of the haul from before i started so here is the before(of what i took) and the after.

now i just have to let the paint harden and then get it back on the trailer without screwing up the paint.

Looking good DSP . I just started on paint on mine today one side done other side top and bottom still to go .

Wow..That paint scheme is great...Wish I would have thought about that scheme when I painted mine!..Thats whats so great about a restoration..you make it yours and unique..

Kev, i actually was going to paint mine similar to yours but in the process of trying to figure out how far up i wanted to do the blue, i came up with the idea of how it ended up, i have to say right now i like it, i just hope i still like it when i flip it ove and see it the way others would when im on the water.

i would have big issues if they boat sat in the water the way it is in the pictures, haha.

im goign to try to get it back on the trailer tonight, so i may have some updated pics of the restored trailer and the boat back on it later.
