I have a 73' or 74' model merc that is a 50hp and the wiring harness from the control module to the motor needed to be replaced and i replaced and now the motor wont start. It will turn over all day long but will not fire. The wiring harness in the motor is new also and worked a year ago when i parked it. I did clean the carb and changed the spark plugs new gas. When i looked at the instructions and followed them to the tee to install the new harness. Does anyone have a clue what it might be? Thanks for any and all help.
