70s strarcraft offshore v

My husband and I just bought a 70s starcraft offshore v. Its very ugly lol. But its our first boat so we're very excited. It has a evinrude starflight outboard motor that runs wonderfully. Needs new floor. New carpet n side upholstery. Seats are new. And needs painted. So all u boat experts out there we need all the advice we can get!!!

It may also need a new transom, something you'll want to check.

Heres the plan.. replacin floor, carpet upholstery except seats cause there new. And painting it completely. And replacing transom...need to know things to look out for as far as hull. Recommended materials wood paint etc..
