7.4 question gen 4 to gen 5

So I have a 1989 7.4 l 454 that pushed the rod out of the oil pan. I found a heck of a good deal on a 1993 7.4l 454 mag bravo Gen V. Will this Gen 5 match up to my Gen 4 in terms of the outdrive bolt patterns. Will the manifolds and engine mounts be the same? I'm assuming some things are different between the Gen 4 and Gen 5. Any help I'd appreciate on this one.

Yes, the flywheel housing pattern and block locations for the mounts are the same.

Flywheel is different, so hopefully your new to you motor has a flywheel

Hey there again Scott it's been awhile. And yes it is a complete motor. So this should be an easy pull it out and put new one in. Right?

I personally would skip the gen V and go straight to a gen VI. However yes. Remove drive, swap motor, align, install drive
