The lean/rich control is located at the top of the carb. But the hole in the outer cover lines up with the bottom of the carb. Can anyone tell me why, or maybe is it the wrong carb for this motor?
It is a 69 20hp as you said. Look at this link and it should explain it. The adjustment knob is located at the bottom of the cowl and hooks to a linkage that turns the screw at the top of the carb.
there is suppose to be a link arm between the outer knob, and the carb needle. some take it off, so no one just turns it by accident. kids love to turn knobs.
