I've posted a couple of times here about cutting out at WOT. I took the advise of checking for spark and looking for old cracked wires. Before I knew of the problem I bought new wires, (just to replace the wires), and a new rotor. The cap being 130 bucks, well, I just waited on it. Taking your advice about the wires and possible arcing of the spark, and the fact that the spark was sometimes hitting and sometimes not made me believe its for sure the cap. I see a new hairline crack in the body and there is that black carbon from the brush and spring sprewn around the basin. Anyway I finaly bought the cap and I hope it works. Thanks for the help because any motor work is three weeks out now, plus costly, plus everything else. So thanks again and I will keep you interested people posted!
