I have a 1967 evinrude fisherman 6hp. I have a problem with it over heating.
Someone told me it was an o ring gone bad, but where would it be and how can I fix it
Go to 'top secret files' on top of this forum and focus on waterpump/impeller. Almost always a bad impeller, or key which drives it off the driveshaft.
