I got this motor from a friend. I was able to start It the first day I had it . It did not run well but it fired. now it seems to flood (?). not quite sure what to do. have cleaned the needle and seat and filter but wondering if float is bad?
cliff, clik boat forums, top of this page, then clik engine faq forum. read outboard won't start, and every thing else. theres a lot of help there. the come back here.
Tashasdaddy is right--one other thing, make sure you have fresh gas! If you started it with old gas in the carb, could have run some crud into the jets. Work through the steps in the FAQ and keep us posted. Those 110's are sweet old motors.
