Re: 64 Edinboro custom learn somthing new every day
You must be the Master of Masking! I do not see a bit of sanding dust, drips or overspray in your work area. How do you keep everything so clean? My garage has a dusty haze on
everything from many previous projects!
By the way .. the boat is looking good! What primer did you use? Will you be sanding this primer?
What finish paint did you choose?
Great job on the underside of the deck lip. Better than "factory"! Looks nice.
Will this be a roll & tip job? Rolling lapstrake won't be easy.
You are so fortunate to have your boat indoors. I start getting queasy thinking about having to finish coat outdoors ....
My primer is 50% sanded now. I found a few dinged lap edges that I wanted to fix so that slowed me down. Plus, one afternoon I had some harsh crosslighting on my transom that revealed it wasn't as smooth as I thought! Grrrrrrrrrrrrr. More filler ... more sanding ...
Good lighting is so important to achieving a good finish.
