57 lark sputter

i have a 57 lark that sputters in low and high rpm but in the middle there is a sweet spot that doesnt sputter or anything i changed the plugs and rebuilt the carb the gas tank has no leaks at all almost scary hoe much pressure that holds also i change the carb settings while running but it doesnt help..... any tips? thanks

ya i did that took it out today and was messing with the stop position on the throttle it felt like the timing was off i got it to run ok but not to stay steady it still bogged or sputtered wont stay in max rpm even with lots of constant carb adjusting any other suggestions or is there anyone in san diego that would be nice enough to take a look at it? thanks
