I installed a drain plug into my little aluminum boat using 5200 to bed the plug, etc. Now I find that its NOT UV rated? It will be constantly exposed to the sunlight being a simple row boat. So, do you think I should remove it and do it over? ... I may be able to find some dynamite or something to get it out of there..Thanks, Joe.

The plug might be exposed but how would UV rays reach the 5200?
I wouldn't worry about it.

One of those oops moments.

I’d leave it alone. Keep an eye on it, fix if it fails again

Yes. A couple of drops of enamel should do it.

Or, place a piece of electrical tape over it.

Personally, wouldn't worry about it. It should last for years and years.

If you really want to test for the UV ,try putting some on your nose when you go into the sun .Report back results.
