They forgot the Vega. I owned a Renault dauphine and agree it was a crappy car. The MGB was almost as bad as the MGA and the MG midget should of been on the list too.

Owned a Pinto (and liked it), wanted a Briklin (would still probably take one) and think the Prowler for all of it's lack of "oompf" under the hood is styling genius ... plus I own an OMC Stringer. Hmmmm ...

Wartburg Knight and the Moskvich could be included for me......oh and the Ford Contour 4 cylinder, any year, not forgetting the Ford Windstar with the towing package and "heavy duty" transmission !!

I really enjoyed that, and it included two of my least favorite, recent examples of carp: the Fiat Multipla and
Pontiac Aztek. Yuck!

The prowler could have been soooo much more with the right motor..An old flathead V8 with offenhouser stacks coming outta the hood for instance!

Fiat Multipla.
I used to sell them, or try to anyway.:redface:
They were seriously bad cars.

They still use them as taxis in Italy!

Years ago the complaint on American cars was they would run for 100k miles but the bodies would rust out in 40K. Then along came the Vega to even it out.

loving the 90 hp camaro. Seriously, whats the point. Reminds me of the X-treme S-10 that has a label on the rear bumper that says you can not tow with it (Pickup that can't tow, another failure).

In tenth grade my buddy had a Pinto. He was one of those sixteen year old tenth graders. We had a jambox (one speaker model) in the back constantly blasting the first (and best) Beastie Boys album. My fave was No Sleep Til Brooklyn, but he was a Paul Revere man. My girlfriend wasn't a fan of the Pinto or the Beastie Boys. One would be amazed what a Pinto was capable of with a sixteen year old high school sophomore behind the wheel.

My mother had a Gremlin when I was in high school. If I wasn't in trouble at the time, she would let me use it. I loved that car. The back seat would fold down, which when you were 17 years old, with a girlfriend, was wonderful. It would also run forever on $3 worth of gas. Imagine that.

Not a fan of the Beastie Boys??!!! On my stag party, the DJ played a tune from the Boys from a cassette we provided. "All I really want is girls. Girls, girls, girls..." Of course, "You gotta fight, for your right, to paaaaaaartyyyyyy"......
