50 hp Tollotson

I have an older 1982 Mercury 50 hp engine with a Tollotson carb # 1364-4929. The mount that holds the float pin broke on me and I tried to fix J.B weld but not sure this will work. Any suggestions would be great!

I am in Lethbridge Alberta, Canada and have been looking with no such luck!
