Thank you for the very kind words, BV.<br /><br />The Forums have become a sort of career-in-retirement for me. I have learned a ton here, from guys like 12Footer, Corm, DJ, OBJ, Paul Moir and many others, and had a ton of fun with them, too. I also enjoy our most active young members and our ever present lovely ladies. Thanks Sloopy, Ryan T., Bassy and Ladyfish.<br /><br />We also have to mention our resident humorist, SBN, who gives us all a bunch of laughs (between poofs )<br /><br />My apologies to the many others who contribute here often. There isn't room enough to name you all, but without you we would be poorer. Thanks.

June 19, 2006. How about a Poll on Salaried, Hourly, Union and non-union i-boaters. Curious on the make up of this group. Mixing comedy with knowledge, sarcasim with experience. How do we start one?

You left out retired, independent contractors, business operators, self employed, "professionals", unemployed, homemakers and students, NYM.<br /><br />In general, hanging labels on people tends to prevent you from knowing them, rather than helping you know them. <br /><br />Folks involved in, or interested in boating or boating related activities is good enough for me.<br /><br />Just my opinion.

Yes JB all of it. It was act of omission not comission. Just like to know what others do or did for a living. This is a great forum, comprised of so many people with one common interest. I am a salaried manager, middle management. Boating is my escape from that. Besides I love it.

After all I bring to this site,...........you know, like.............uh, well there was one time I..........................don't you remember when I helped this.....one.....fella................ Dang it, I don't think i've helped anybody. <br /><br />Guess I should just say thanks for allowing me to stay here, even though I just take up bandwidth.<br /><br />bv, this is a great site, and I am proud to be a member. ..........and I also agree that JB does a great job.<br /><br />Wow, I didn't realize that I have been here that long. I'm in the member number 14,000 category. <br /><br />Let me see, my guess will be........November 23rd 2006 @ 6:30pm EST. (Someone will be bored right after Thanksgiving dinner, and will log-on and become registered member 100,000).
