5 HP Force won't keep running

I have a 5 HP Force and it's about 4 or 5 years old. Just this last year It has developed a problem running.<br /><br />It starts up, races and quits all within seconds. Then It won't start again.<br /><br />I've had it to (3) different repair shops with no success at getting it fixed. Any help would be appreciated.

joe it sounds like you may have a vacuum leak either in the carb mount gaskets or in the crankcase itself you really need to get it fixed or you will end up w/ a junk motor it creates a lean condition that is a two strokes biggest enemy if you can get it running and spray, spray silicone yes a spray can of silicone lubricant around the carb base and around around all of the sealing areas of the crankcase if the motor speeds up you have found the leak now you need to fix it new base gaskets or crank end seals or some other gaskets good luck monty
