5.7L twin engine and stick matching

Mercrusier, Wellcraft 1987, twin 5.7L thunderbolt IV ign.
Adjusted one engine timing, was way off and now at 8 deg. BTDC, other eng. was on the mark.
Is there a proceedure to match the throtle sticks and engines such as RPM,
