I checked the coil and it wasn't producing spark. The ignition module produces 12.5 volts to the coil but not out of the coil. So I replaced the coil with a brand new one. Still no spark. Can ne one help?

Do you have Thunderbolt IV or V?

If you have IV, use this: http://www.marinepartsman.com/Mercury-Marine-service-bulletins/MerCruiser/1983/EN_24.PDF

If you have V, use this: http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sour...H1OHvD2eA&sig2=QrjMR4pfoEtRF8HHsrmtqg&cad=rja

Don't just throw parts at it, that is costly and often ineffective. I had the same problem with my Thunderbolt IV, found out it was the amplifier so i eventually just switched to the Delco Voyager system. Goodluck
