Hello friends, we also have problem with 5.7 liter that the engine revs up to 4,500, 5,000 when stationary, but it does not increase to 2,000 while moving, and the oil pressure is not constant and it plays constantly.
Thank you in advance

What is the motors serial number?

Does the motor start easy but just won't increase above 2000 when in gear?
Have you done a compression test?
What is the fuel pressure reading?

What is the fuel Hello again, yes, the engine compression test is between 12 and 15 in single start and primary start mode, and then with the second start, it is 15. The injectors have been washed and the spraying of all 8 of them is good. I guess the problem is the gearbox ratio or gearbox failure in the shaft. It is either the propeller or the corrosion of the valve stem, again the opinion of the professors is more preferable.

I have a simple question, how much should the gas pump pressure be, and is it possible to send a link to purchase a specific gas pump, thank you.

I still don't know what exact motor your working on. This is why I've asked for the serial number. It appears to be MPI from the pic with a 555 ECM but there have been a few different mods happen over the years

296kPa or 40 psi at 1800 rpm. Should be real close to same readings with just key on

Thanks for number 2a014494

The ECM looks rough with the connector coming apart

The gas pressure of our engine is about the same
Next thing would find out if there are any codes in the ECM. It will need to be scanned

Have you done a compression test and if so are they in the 150 psi range 1030 kPa

There should be a plug cloe by the ECM and probably has a black cap on it, maybe 2 in wide.

There it is next to the engne connector

We searched a lot, do you have access to the wiring diagram for this engine or can you show me the line drawing on the pictures I have sent because it would be a big help if we could see the computer errors.

You will need a Rinda scanner to read the codes. Can get the handheld Techmate Pro or software that runs on a laptop. Both will require adapter 94006. The ECM cannot be scanned with meters or other OBD scanners

The software is $599.00 kit 94010 which comes with 2 adapters, the one needed and for older models

The Techmate Pro is $499.00 kit 94706 and comes with adapter needed
