Agreed at this point dont think its the module start with the trigger sensor inside dist

Hi. I’d check the shift interrupt switch assembly isn’t loose and operating when it shouldn’t. (If it’s an alpha one).

I want to thank everyone for their suggestions. I ended up replacing the distributor cap and trigger sensor and it runs like a champ now.

Nice. I keep a spare sensor and cap and rotor in my spares kit on the boat... I think it ensure you never have to use them...
