2004 4 hp Merc stays on boat in the water. Motor was not run for 4 weeks, and will start and run for anywhere from 15 seconds to 2 minutes then dies. Will restart, sometimes quickly , sometimes many pulls. Has integral tank and maintains fuel in fuel filter. I thought it was moisture in fuel tank, so I drained fuel and replaced with new. Will run slightly longer, but still dies after a short time. Will restart. Gas cap vent is working properly. Any suggestions on troubleshooting will be appreciated.
