my 48 hp wont rev past 3000rpm.have been told not enough vaccum produced for fuel pump,that part of piston may be damaged ,boat has 130 compression both cylinders.that make any sense?could i hook up electic fuel pump?
have you check spark on both cylinders? NO to electric fuel pump. have you replaced the gasket between fuel pump, and block? have you cleaned and rebuilt the carbs? have you done a link n sinc? do you have and OEM Johnson service manual?
