If it's a 40hp, long shaft, pull start, then it is a 1988...

I've had the motor for 2 years and I finally found somone that could tell me what year it is. Thank you very much. You wouldn't by chance know where one could pick up a manual for my motor?

This is the part number 90-845202... Any Merc dealer or www.mercruiserparts.com/partsByNumber.asp Put the number in and order...
