Really? Do I detect an air of smugness in your post? Or were just feeling sorry for me? :) 8 to 13 percent or all Iboaters hate radishes.

See, there you are in the Majority again. I will not divulge my taste with regard to radishes as I do not want to hurt the industry. Actually maybe we have struck upon a meaningful poll... Nawwww.

Rays' Almanac of useless information. :D If you didn't make the connection the post was prompted by the 6 to 10 percent..... Every College major requires some form of science. When I was in Junior college it was Physical Science 10, most undergraduate students in non science majors took it for an easy A. These large enrollment classes help non-majors satisfy the general ed requirements and pump up the science dept budjet..... :D

College can be rendered utterly meaningless by the goals of the student, technosecretagent.<br /><br />A more important key to their success or failure lies in their career choices, and the achievment of meeting any prerequisites to such a career. Well, I got the utterly meaningless. Two cents is probably a little over priced. Wind Surfing, was that your major in college?

BWAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA- Liberal Arts. Isn't that a fitting name? LOL<br /><br /> My buddy worked at a pretty well known LA college here in Ohio- Kenyon. I went up there twice a year for business with his IT department. I never saw so many basket-weavers and performance artists in my life. It's amazing what some parents will spend tuition money on to get the kids out of the house. <br /><br /> I'm really sorry but I have yet to see a CEO, CFO or President of any major corporation with purple hair, nose rings, blacked-out make-up or piercings of every kind in every place on their bodies. It just doesn't match the image, ya' know?<br /><br />UFM82

"4 to 9%"<br /><br />That's one out of 25 to one out of 11.1111.<br /><br />So what? Seems meaningless drivel to me.<br /><br />What does get my attention is the thinly veiled snotty personal insults in Techno. . . . 's retorts.<br /><br />Knock it off, TS.

Yeah, I am printing this. My 17 year old just finished up on some College applications. Neighbor asked him if he wanted a little job installing Christmas lights. His response? "Maybe" . . . "Do you want fries with that?"

Re: 4 to 9 percent of college graduates took gee whiz courses.

At least Sloopy is getting an actual useful degree. My opinion is that college is pointless if you are just going there to get a fluff degree in applied nothing just so you can say you went. I have delayed college (I do have some credits though through the military), though I still have my GI Bill patiently waiting to be used, until I had finally found a profession that I can apply college to. Now I can get a Criminal Justice degree, and not feel like I wasted time and money because that education is directly applicable to my new job.
