Hi, I have a quick question on this motor. I removed the lower unit and the water tube came with it. Is this normal? Most water tubes stay with the power head. I looked up in there and there is a tapered guide tube the water tube enters in to Has any one experienced the same thing? Thanks...Robert

I believe it came out of the upper grommet instead of the lower one on the water pump housing. Just poke it back into the upper one before installing lower unit.

Put just a SMALL amount of lube on it before you install it.
