Engine serial #OD-428548. It has DDI ignition on it. Want to change to a newer ignition. What will work with my motor and what kind of dollars can expect to spend?
Also, is it possible to rebuild the fuel pump on this same motor?
The Delco EST is your best bet for new electronic ignition. That is what Merc and Volvo use with the 3.0L engines, and parts and service information is easily available.
