3.0 liter mercruiser wont start

I have a 93 Maxum that has a 3.0 liter mercruiser that wont start I was running fine all summer, then one day wouldn't start up. We have checked the coil, distributer, fuel pump, and the timing. Nothing has seemed to come up, when we checked to see if it had spark it started up with only 3 sparkplugs in, will not fire up with 4 though. Not sure where to go from here. Any thoughts would be great!

Check the spark plug wires with an ohm meter. Which ignition system do you have? (there is a possiblility of 3) How long since a full tuneup. Cap, rotor, points, condenser, spark plugs, compression test and all the other good stuff.

You have water in the oil? What the plugs look like?

Do a compression check first.
