My aluminum drain plug has anoded away on the exhaust riser. Is it supposed to be aluminum so that it works as an anode? Or can I replace it with brass.
someone probably dropped the brass one in the bilge, couldnt find it, and installed an aluminum one in its place. the motor was shipped with a brass plug.
