will the coupler bolt up to either size chevy flywheel. old style 280 volvo chevy 5.7 l late 80's i have the smaller size flywheel in there now getting ready for the bigger flywheel.
You can if the flex plate has holes in it for the bigger flywheel, but I doubt it will fit. I don't have any numbers for you, but we always got the flex plates from NAPA and the new ones had holes for both sizes, and we just had to grind off the excess ends to get them to fit the smaller flywheel.
So it is pretty safe to say that the flanges have been ground off or something along those lines and will be another problem for me lol!
