Re: 25 E-Tec for trolling????

It's clear that we both love our DI two stroke outboards!!

Up in our neck of the woods the four stroke dealers do nothing but lie about the benefits of the DI two stroke motor. It's a constant battle to keep the customer informed about the product on the water. Don't get me wrong, all the product out there is at a level of quality that is far beyond expectations of the past. We don't go out of our way to put down product just simply point out the positive features of the motor that we believe in. Our passion for boating is simply showing through:)

It's posts like this that keep the industry moving forward in a positive direction.

As always, have fun on the water.

Can someone give a ball park guess on pricing for one of those babies?

yeah, the interweb and c-list are your friend. Do LOTS of shopping around before you pull the trigger. There may even be some nice, gently used ones out there. I know a lot of the lodges up north sell their outboards after a few seasons of light use on the lakes and there are tons of guys down here in FL that buy brand new boats keep them for 2-3 yrs, then get a new one (must be nice). Keep us posted on your hunting.
