I have a 1998 225 EFI, that no matter if the engine is warm or cold has a hard time starting and rough idle low idle and will stall. If i just keep very little foot throttle in it, its fine. It gets on plane no issues, runs fine at any speed other than idle (all the way up to 5800 Rpm). It has been rebuilt in last 2 years, less than 20 hrs. on it. It will start after several attempts trimmed out of the water and put my foot all the way down to open up the throttle. I have completed break it and even sea foamed it to get any residual oil out and clean up injectors. (seemed to help a little). I going to attempt checking the TPS and MAP sensor (not sure if it has one) next, and pull the plugs to see if I have a weak coil or something going on with the ignition or ECU's.
Ok what I've checked so far.
Any help would be appreciated, thank you

Ok what I've checked so far.
- All Cyl. have compression between 98 and 102
- All have spark new Champion plugs gapped to .35
- New fuel line and new Fuel (97 octane) I would think if it was a fuel issue, I wouldnt get full power operation.
Any help would be appreciated, thank you
