2020 tohatsu adding electric start

Looking at buying a new 2020 tohatsu tiller motor that is currently pull cord, but looking at adding electric start to it. Is it simply done ? Is there a kit? Price seems right if I can add it reasonably. Thanks in advance

What motor are you talking about? 3.5HP? 5HP? 20HP? You're not going to get decent answers unless folks know which model is being discussed.

No kits. You need the starter, solenoid, switch, and wiring. Usually not cost effective.

I have converted many marine and non marine engines to electric starters. Always worth it for some people. If any of the same blocks & flywheels where used in other motors ? Piece of cake job. what is the h p of the motor ?

Do a web search of..... J D Powers 2020 Tohatsu 20 hp motors. They list about 10 that year with electric starting. And actual model numbers for the electrics. You can copy the electric model #s. Then do web searches accurately.
