I called it long ago when they came up with the helmet to helmet rule. The human head is at the top of the body. Anyone running towards a ball carrierr will eventually hit the other guys head as the tacklers head slides up the chest and towards the head of the ball carrier. It's simple physics. It can be avoided, all tackles must be made at the waist and below.

The final score of the Monday Night Football game should read Officials 1 Lions 0. This was one of the worst officiated games I have ever watched. Long time Lions fan. While the Lions have an improving team they are not yet good enough to overcome both the other team and the officials. Someday.

Not to give any excuse for the Zebra's but as someone who has umped Fastball and High School Football for a few seasons many years back I fully understand how some blatant calls are missed. Nobody has eyes in the back of their head and calls must be made in real time. There was no huddles for Zebra's then to discuss a call, that was just not done.
