Inspections are going great. Out of 4 cars only 2 have failed the 1st pass. Harvick and Bowyer are good, they keep their qualifying position. Almirols and Suarez flunked - To the back they go.

Truex fails. Larson fails.

4 out 8 so far.

No word on Elliott, but his car was pulled to the side for some reason.

I knew it - The tool bag didn't pass muster. Elliott gets a thumbs down.

5 of the fastest 8 qualifiers flunk.

I guess some of my roster will be starting at the rear. Like 5 of them! Who to pull out of the garage? :noidea:

Through 30 cars - 10 to go to finish 1st pass. Cassill is now sitting in the corner stool wearing a dunce hat.

I need to start using toes to the number of failures. 9 out of 30.

Will we know what they flunked for?

Starting the 2nd pass - Elliott flunked again and lost a crewman.

Also Gace and Hill failed at the end of the 1st round for a total of 11 flunkers.

Larson and Joey flunked the second time, too. Almirola, Suarez, Truex and McDowell passed the 2nd time through.

As electronics improve, things like this start becoming stupid, go back to the templates and be done with it, get back to racing, technology be damned..

If you want this to be identical cars, then choose a make and model and have them all run that for a season.

Larson and Joey made it through on their last chance. Elliott is on the way into the booth. He is the last one.

Larson and Joey lost their car chief with 2nd fail. If Elliott fails again, he gets a pass through and probably a 10 point deduct.

The SHR cars had trunk lid issues, the rest were body measurements.

Elliott made it on his 3rd and final shot. Chassis issue 1st time and body the 2nd time.

Line up positions are all set for the 7:46 roster lock.
