Looking for a impeller for a 2018 20hp efi Tahatsu. Is there a sierra part number for it. Factory part looks to be 200 days out? Or is there a factory one out there? Mercury 20 impeller work? Thanks for any info
Year is irrelevant. I suppose your model is MFS20E.
Never do just the impeller; always do a complete kit. Yes, they are out of stock, but they last at least 3 years if reasonably cared for. Why do you need one.
I never use aftermarket wp kits ever.
It is now 3 years old. Still pumps fine but I believe in doing it before it stops pumping. Also it is always in clean water so I think doing the impeller will probably be ok-if I see the housing or plate is warn I will replace it all. Sierra impellers have been good to me in my other outboards so thought it would be in a Tahatsu.
Tohatsu OEM impellers outlasts any other impeller brand, lasts a lifetime, if still peeing strong don't worry keep using current one. My 18 HP motor impeller has 1K clocked run hours and still pees as a teenager LOL!!
