2017 Evinrude

Hi! I just bought a 20' 2016 Manitou Oasis with a 2017 Evinrude E60DPGLAGC. I couldn't tell if it is a 2 or 4 stroke, as I was not paying as much attention as I should have. Can someone tell me what I have? Fuel mix if it's 2 stroke? I'm not really familiar with 2 stroke outboards.

That would be an E-TECH 2 stroke motor.-----Gas and oil are NOT mixed on this motor.------The ECU and oil injection system look after this.----See a dealer , read the owners manual before turning the key !!

Are you saying I just put gas in the tank like a 4 stroke?

Be sure the oil tank has oil in it!

there is an oil tank on that motor that will need to be filled periodically. but you should read the manual

Read and understand what you have.----Mistakes are easy to make and will be expensive.

one other thing to ask the owner is the oil setting. That determines which oil to use. If I was buying it I would take it to a dealer and have them set the pump as rich as possible. then run the best oil you can find XD 100
