I bought a 2014 s21 supreme and I need advice on lowering and securing the tower for a long distance move.

Ok, it appears to be bolted on, so,.....
Unhook the wiring, remove the bolts, lay it down on cardboard or something, 'n secure it snuggly,....
It appears it can ride just forward of the windshield,....

It's bolted and caulked down.

Reach under the gunwale, unplug the tower, unbolt the tower.

Or because the tower is designed to be below DOT limit and the gunwale is beafed up with al aluminum plate in the cap. The boat and tower are structurally secure (as it's a tow tower). Just leave it up

Looking at that tower it looks like there is a pivot on the front of the mount would expect it to tilt forward and lay down

Only if there is a black knob on the aft portion of the base
