Me neither and have not accomplished flow dynamics to prove, just all are that way. Water comes in and the circulating pump is rotating CW from the front of the motor, so my pea brain believes this helps it move to the port side
Ok, but taking the inlet hose from the port an re routing it to the starboard and vice versa wouldn have taken that out of play tho right?

Ok so we put the thermostat back in, I checked oil cooler for debri and found nothing. Port side you can keep your hand on it forever and starboard side literally about a sec. Doesn't help when you Rev it up and the engine temp hovers around mid 130's. We know it is getting water from unhooked drain hose that connects the 2 manifolds. I'm literally out of ideas...

I don't know either.
If your on a hose, then the motor is not getting all the water it can. If your in the water and it still gets that hot, I just don't know
