Having problem flushing this motor here in Florida on my lift. Salt is bad but I bought ears and they will not push water up thru the system and out the drain hole.

muffs/ears will not push water past the water pump, the motor has to be started so the pump can pump the water

The motor is a DF 40 and I need to know what type of ears to use when the motor is running.

If u can get access to a 55 gallon plastic container cut it and submerge the lower unit and get a blow gun wit a compressor and blow some air in the pee hole while motor is running might get it unclogged Suzuki are notorious for clogging up
