2008 BF150 exhaust thru water intake

I noticed a change in rpm at WOT and sound change. While checking motor, I placed in nutraceuticals and receding it up and noticed exhaust gas coming from the starboard water intake. During the whole experiment the cooling discharge continued to push a solid stream.
Is this normal?

I'm not an expert on that motor, but exhaust from the water intake does not sound normal.
