2006 VZ200TLR HPDI Interface Cable for Lowrance unit

I covered my Tach with my Lowrance graph. I want to hook up my HPDI to my Lowrance HDS 12 Gen 2 graph so I can see my RPMs and Engine temperature. Do I only need a Interface cable to run from the HPDI to the graph or will I also need the NMEA 2000 kit. Wasn't sure if I needed both or if just the interface cable will get me what I want?
