Hello Folks.
I have a new to me 2006 MSF 18B2 that was running rough and the carb was leaking out fuel though what I guess is an overflow of some sort on the back side. I removed the carb, took it apart, soaked in carb cleaner overnight, reassembled with a few new gaskets and it is really hard to start without a shot of starting fluid. One shot of starting fluid and it takes right off. Without starting fluid I can pull ten times or more while fussing with the throttle and may get it to start. Once it starts it runs fine? What am I missing? Any help would be appreciated. I am not familiar at all with these four strokes without a choke or a Mercury style primer. Thanks, Mike.
