I just bought a 2005 Mercury 60 HP 4 stroke used motor. It look in good shape except been run in salt water. I finally got it install and took a cruise on the lake. As I was cruising i started to notice a faint knocking from the motor and got louder until the alarm want off. I took the cover off and didn't notice anything wrong. I did notice that ontop of the dipstick their is a bolt stuck in what apears to be a blow by. By the air intake their is also hose intake with nothing on it that is sucking in year. should something be connected to this. It does make a load sucking noise after awhile. When I shut off the motor at high speed when it start to knock, whatever is making the knocking noise keeps spinning and knocking even though the crank has stop. Any suggestion were to look or whats going wrong with motor. doesn't not knock at idol, just when motor is at high RPM's then it starts to knock. thanks
