2004 HPDI with older controls?

I have a 1990 225 2 stroke and have a chance to trade up to a 2004 250 HPDI VMAX. Can I use my current controls, oil tank, cables and digital gauges?

everything will work with the exception of the trim guage in the tach.}
unless the tach is a 2000 and up model with a dip switch to select 2 or 3 wire trim sender.
you will need to buy the adapters from round to square for the trim and oil tank harness.
your engine has round connectors and in 1995 yamaha moved to square connectors at the engine side.
